How do you follow up a three-game winning streak? With an uninspiring three-game losing streak, of course. It is true that these three losses in LA weren’t nearly on par with the week-long disaster that took place in Pittsburgh and Houston and Milwaukee leading up to this series, but that doesn’t have to mean the last three games in LA were pretty.
We’re 25 games into the season and the Pirates are 10-15. That’s on pace for 40-60, for 60-90, for 65-97. They’re a long way away from convincing me that they’re better than that.
