Vance Worley takes on Aaron Harang as the Pirates try to win the series

I have two pieces of advice today:

1. Don’t lose to Aaron Harang.

2. Don’t split a series with the Phillies.

Vance Worley starts for the Bucs. As David Todd notes, it is surely not a coincidence that Charlie Morton, who’s pitched quite well on his rehab outings, is starting opposite Worley in Indianapolis today. Also, Josh Harrison is in left field today, and Andrew McCutchen has the day off. That puts Jung Ho Kang back at third.

First pitch is at 1:05. Don’t split a series with the Phillies.

About Pat Lackey

In 2005, I started a WHYGAVS instead of working on organic chemistry homework. Many years later, I've written about baseball and the Pirates for a number of sites all across the internet, but WHYGAVS is still my home. I still haven't finished that O-Chem homework, though.
