DK: Pirates not targeted for revenue sharing violations

Just a short note, but I think it’s important. When I posted the link to that release about the Marlins being slapped on the wrist for not spending revenue sharing earlier, I know we all wondered the same thing. “Are the Pirates next?”

The answer, according to Dejan Kovacevic, is a firm “no.” He’s had it confirmed to him by a source outside the organization. Whatever the Pirates are doing with their money, it’s apparently not that offensive to the Commish or the Player’s Union.

About Pat Lackey

In 2005, I started a WHYGAVS instead of working on organic chemistry homework. Many years later, I've written about baseball and the Pirates for a number of sites all across the internet, but WHYGAVS is still my home. I still haven't finished that O-Chem homework, though.
