Clint Hurdle is already giving me a headache

From Colin Dunlap (on his first day at the PBC Blog):

Also, it has become quite clear that Clint Hurdle is a man who will be prone to using sayings to get his point across. He has pulled the team together already and, among other things said: “Championship teams make good outs” and “Prepare, have a plan and execute. It is all about scoring one more run than the other team.”

NOOOOOOOOO!!!! (I’m talking about productive outs, which maybe wasn’t as apparent as I hoped.)

Standard disclaimer about what the manager says not meaning anything, but still, damn.

About Pat Lackey

In 2005, I started a WHYGAVS instead of working on organic chemistry homework. Many years later, I've written about baseball and the Pirates for a number of sites all across the internet, but WHYGAVS is still my home. I still haven't finished that O-Chem homework, though.
