Rainout links

Last night’s game was, in fact, rained out, so any of the good things that may have come from it are washed out as well. A few links for the day:

Horrific story about Ted Williams.

You’ve probably seen Mike Blowers amazing prediction by now, but if you haven’t, you need to.

Shawn Chacon is wanted by the law.

Anyways, I’m starting to put together an off-season schedule in my head for WHYGAVS and as always, I certainly encourage you to keep visiting even though the baseball is over on Sunday. Early next week I’ll do season-in-review type stuff, then transition back to more of the “questions” posts. I’m also going to try to kick right into PitchFX stuff with the pitching staff. I think what I may do is try to take one pitcher a week and do two or three posts on each, depending on what they merit, before moving on to the next. I’ll also be covering the playoffs at FanHouse and probably helping out with the liveblogs there, so make sure you keep an eye out for that. Really, I feel like now that the season is over, it’s time to do some really interesting stuff here on the blog, and I hope you’ll stick around over the winter.

About Pat Lackey

In 2005, I started a WHYGAVS instead of working on organic chemistry homework. Many years later, I've written about baseball and the Pirates for a number of sites all across the internet, but WHYGAVS is still my home. I still haven't finished that O-Chem homework, though.
