The long nightmarish homestand has ended

The Pirates are back on the road after a terrible homestand. Gerrit Cole and Shelby Miller are on the mound at Busch Stadium tonight. Cole’s last start was excellent, Carlos-Gomez-related-shenanigans aside. The Pirates have owned Shelby Miller. They’re at a point where if they’re a good team, they’ll find a way to turn things around. First pitch tonight is at 8:05.
