Jung Ho Kang being investigated for sexual assault in Chicago

The Chicago Tribune is reporting this afternoon that Jung Ho Kang is being investigated in Chicago for a sexual assault that took place immediately after a Pirates/Cubs game last month. There are more details in that Chicago Trib report, although you should be warned that there’s a description of the alleged assault in the story.

The Pirates are aware of the situation and Frank Coonelly says it’s “before the Commisioner’s Office.” I don’t really have much else to say at this point; there’s not much to do here other than let this play out.

About Pat Lackey

In 2005, I started a WHYGAVS instead of working on organic chemistry homework. Many years later, I've written about baseball and the Pirates for a number of sites all across the internet, but WHYGAVS is still my home. I still haven't finished that O-Chem homework, though.
