Game 44: Orioles 9 Pirates 2

I got home from work last night, went for a run, sat down to write a preview of the game, and found out that I didn’t have internet in my apartment. I shrugged, went to softball, went to the post-softball cookout, and came home at 10:30 ready to watch the condensed game and do a write up. Still no internet.

I listened to about 20 minutes of the game, when Francisco Liriano was walking people like crazy in the fourth inning, which was apparently one inning before Chris Davis lost his mind and starting hitting baseballs over the fence like crazy.

My summary of the game, therefore, will be limited to this: the Pirates are not very good at baseball right now.

About Pat Lackey

In 2005, I started a WHYGAVS instead of working on organic chemistry homework. Many years later, I've written about baseball and the Pirates for a number of sites all across the internet, but WHYGAVS is still my home. I still haven't finished that O-Chem homework, though.
