A brief brain vacation

Sorry for being so out of it this week; my brain has kinded of needed the time off, I think, with the passing of the record and all. I do have a bunch of stuff that I want to get started on, and I’m going to do so next week. On top of the project I mentioned yesteday, I still owe everyone some serious talk on the prospects (which should help satisfy some of the suggestions from yesterday’s post) and where the minor league system is headed, which will also start next week with most of the affiliates’ seasons having ended.

Until then, I suppose I’ll just run with the poll that everyone else is running with right now. Will the Pirates los 100 games? Honestly, I don’t think they’re as bad as their record since August 1st, but I also don’t see the team getting any better in the immediate future and they sure do need to improve to get nine more wins.

About Pat Lackey

In 2005, I started a WHYGAVS instead of working on organic chemistry homework. Many years later, I've written about baseball and the Pirates for a number of sites all across the internet, but WHYGAVS is still my home. I still haven't finished that O-Chem homework, though.
