Finding runs

Getting shut out by the Marlins was probably not how the Pirates wanted this series to start, but they've still got a decent shot at taking two of three in this series. Tonight, Charlie Morton takes the mound after what was one of his better starts of 2013 against the Nationals earlier in the week, though he faded a bit as the game went on. In fact, Morton's last two starts have both been pretty good. Tom Koehler starts for the Marlins. He's not really very good, and the Pirates should be able to get on the scoreboard tonight.

First pitch is at 7:10.

About Pat Lackey

In 2005, I started a WHYGAVS instead of working on organic chemistry homework. Many years later, I've written about baseball and the Pirates for a number of sites all across the internet, but WHYGAVS is still my home. I still haven't finished that O-Chem homework, though.
