First off, have a great time. Like every year since I’ve moved, I’m sad I won’t be in town to head down, see the Q&As and laugh at the Jeff Tabaka jerseys that are still for sale in that one crazy little corner with unsold jerseys of the last 15-odd years.
I am curious, though, to see what people’s opinions are on Clint Hurdle in the Q&As. Several of the players we’ve signed this winter (namely Diaz, Overbay, and Beimel) have cited Hurdle as one of the reasons they wanted to sign with the Pirates, so I’m curious what fans think after seeing him in person. Sometimes first impressions can be awfully accurate.
