Game 15: Cardinals 5 Pirates 1

I wanted to keep my streak of a recap-for-every-game going since I kind of fell off of the table towards the end of the year last fall and I don’t want to head down the rabbit hole again. The problem is that I have nothing unique to say about this game at the moment; Erik Bedard hit some rough spots early but cruised after the fourth inning and pitched generally well. The Pirates only scored once against Kyle Lohse, and so they lost. The Pirates have scored 30 runs in 15 games. This is a problem.

Updated to reflect the fact that when I wrote this mini-recap, I totally forgot the last two innings even happened.

About Pat Lackey

In 2005, I started a WHYGAVS instead of working on organic chemistry homework. Many years later, I've written about baseball and the Pirates for a number of sites all across the internet, but WHYGAVS is still my home. I still haven't finished that O-Chem homework, though.
